The 15th San Francisco Silent film Festival kicked off with a rare opportunity to see the sole surviving 35mm print of John Ford's The Iron Horse. Also a rare opportunity to see our busy friend Liz Keim and hand off a Slouch Fedora. Liz herself is no slouch - she is created and runs a fabulous film program at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

Liz emailed - "I love my hat. I dreamed last night that I lost it and all of these people kept bringing me hats saying, 'Is this it?'. I tried every one of them on but none of them felt as good as the one you gave me. So this morning the first thing I did was get the hat and put it on. I love it."
